We feel bad about it; just imagine how he feels.  We need to be more patient.  His next major win will be so sweet!  When that happens, I think there will be some awesome celebration here.

lucky,

Thanks for the positive comments.  I know tiger is not gonna come here and answer my question.  Just encouraging him that you're there.  He is the MASTER at it

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE ANOTHER MAJOR WHICH IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.

GO TIGER

I think it basically comes back to risk vrs reward.   He made the gamble to be conservative off the tee,  it worked for awhile but then the long approaches and the undulating greens gobbled him up and it didn't produce the same result as in the first two rounds.  His short game wasn't good enough to get him the necessary saves when he got in trouble.  Of course you can make the argument that being more aggressive might have cost him more strokes, but he had alot of bogeys on holes 1-6,   I don't know if it would have added more strokes and in my opinion give him some more opportunities.

Second he didn't execute on the easier holes out there with birdie chances,  making Pars and Bogey instead.

He played so well on Thursday and Friday, and I, like probably many others, was thinking that it was Tiger's tournament. I did hear several commentators bring up the idea that, now at age 36, Tiger's becoming more aware that his window for winning majors is closing, which is putting increased pressure on him. I'm not sure I totally buy into that, but it's an interesting thought. With each major that goes by without his winning (now at 16 and counting), maybe he is wondering when the next win will come. You're right, though, in that he did seem to be playing conservatively, and we saw how that worked.

     Kuki:

Let's us at all times think of Tiger Woods and apply some good old fashion "Common Sense".      Tiger did not give away the 2012 U.SOpen.

Webb Simpson has the trophy because he played the best for 4 days on the Lake Course.    End of discussion so now Club Tiger Land two golfing majors are behind us and we all must move onward with the great Tiger Woods to his next tournament(s), the AT&T National and the Greenbrier Classic.       :)
