I've heard jury selection was underway on May 29, 2012; and that Waldron was representing himself.

 Oh My Gosh, I don't want to believe there are people in Fresno capable of such sickness!  there should be NO question as to whether he will face a Jury!! Geez

UPDATE: Judge Hilary Chittick is handling the case with extreme care because Waldron is representing himself (and possibly also because he's not 100% with us. He wears a yellow jail jumpsuit, meaning he has behavioral issues.)
Waldron's jury selection has been postponed for a couple months because he told the judge he isn't prepared. She told him he's had a long time to get prepared, but she granted the delay with bi-monthly hearings to check on his progress.
At his last hearing, a whole slew of deputies had to rush into his courtroom to restrain him when he started screaming. I was down the hall three courtrooms, heard the screaming, ran down there and saw him being restrained in the back.
The trial is still expected to get underway in August.

Just to clarify the "not 100% with us" statement, there are no competency issues, just behavioral.

 I misprinted sir, I meant JUSTICE more than Jury.. IF he dismembered a fellow human being, his mind is definately in Question here. Even tho it is said he just has bad behavioral habits? I do believe it goes a bit deeper..

 I do not read the paper, very seldom even read the headlines.. So of course missed this story. Apparently he has waived his Speedy Trial....Sad affair
