These guys never quit. When Tiger plays poorly, they just gloss right over that and bring up his past record, which is great...no argument there...but it is in the past. Tiger's wins at Bay Hill and Muirfield were both very impressive, but were on courses where he's had consistent success through the years. The larger focus should be on the majors (I guarantee you that Tiger's focus is on the majors), and this year he's pretty much laid an egg in both of them. It's now over four years since he's won a major, and I wouldn't doubt that he's starting to get at least a little concerned that the window may be starting to close.
We know that Tiger's win at the Chevron in December over 17 other players is not an official win. On another thread recently, another of the Tiger diehards was claiming credit for a win for his losing record in the Presidents' Cup, I guess because he was a member of the winning team. Yeah, I know it's silly! LOL
