It's not what you accomplish that counts, it's what you overcome. Tiger will continue his pursuits, and so most of his fans will continue to support him. I know for sure that I will start over again at his next tournament. Quitters never win, and winners never quit.

This was a very powerful post. Thanks. And just think, the battles Tiger wages are always in front of a GIANT crowd of people. How many of us would be at our very best performing anything if we had thousands of eyes watching our every move. Never was this point driven more home to me than when I was watching the videos TigerSlam sent from the Memorial. I cannot imagine concentrating on a shot with that many eyes trained on my every move. TERRIFYING.

Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed my post.  I agree with you, I could not imagine performing at that level before crowds that huge.  Tiger has done it almost from the beginning of his career,  and has been known for his phenominal focusing ability, few people have that great talent!   Of course, he is only human after all and other serious concerns may creep in from time to time to cause that focus to falter.  He carries a heavy load, most people would have crumbled under it, but he soldiers on!  Tiger  is a warrior and I feel privileged to be able to watch him perform, win or lose.
