                                                      DAY SIX (6) > SATURDAY 3/31/2012

On television in the United States, ESPN’s live Masters coverage will begin during the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday, April 4 from 3 – 5 p.m. EDT. ESPN will also broadcast live Tournament action from 3 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 and Friday, April 6. CBS will provide weekend coverage from 3:30 – 7 pm on Saturday, April 7 and 2 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 8.

In total, it is expected that the Masters will be broadcast live or delayed in more than 200 countries. Additionally, the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service will be broadcasting the event to U.S. military installations throughout the world.

ESPN will also distribute 14 hours of live 3D programming during the Tournament on its ESPN 3D network, including Wednesday’s Par 3 Contest and all four competitive rounds of play. In 2010, the Masters produced the first successful live domestic and transoceanic 3D distribution of a major sporting event. With more than 25 3D cameras in 2012, the Masters will be the largest 3D production ever undertaken in any sport.

On the Internet, the official Web site of the Tournament, Masters.com, will be regularly updated with stories, photos and on-demand video. During Masters week, the key features  will also include:

·         Seven live video channels, all available in HD-quality

·         Exclusive live scoring with integrated leader board highlights

·         The Internet’s only live, 3D video stream for users with 3D-capable computers

·         Comprehensive news coverage, highlights, scores, statistics and player information

For the iPhone, iPad and Android-based smartphones and tablets, the Masters has released free applications designed to complement the television broadcast or to be used independently to follow Masters Tournament action. All apps feature exclusive live scoring, several channels of live video content, Masters Radio, pairings, news and video-on-demand highlights.
