Why not? Tiger and Feherty are good friends and Feherty is a big Tiger fan.

Paul, I'd love to see Feherty and Tiger do a show together, but don't think it'll happen. While DF is a fan of Tiger, he'd lose all credibility if all he did was throw softball questions at Tiger. And since we know that Tiger wants total control in situations like that, softball questions are the only kind he'd allow.

And you know that how ?

I watch the Feherty show each week, usually taped to watch at my convenience.  I would say all of the shows are pretty tame. Daivid Feherty does not seem to have an agenda to embarass his guests. It seems to me that the guest are shown exactly the way that they (guest) want. Greg Norman obviously had and has an issue with Tiger not meeting with him when he moved to Jupiter, like greg is the "Godfather of South Florida or something". The famous incident between Ken Venturi and Arnold Palmer at the 1958 Masters or even some of Ken's rules calls during telecasts were not covered or mentioned much. Bill Clinton will be guest at future show, and do you think David will ask anything about the Monica L incident?

Frankly, I'm not sure that it does much for Tiger, unless he just wants to do it for David. The audience for TGC would be people that are probably set in their opinions of Tiger - for better or worse.  I would certainly like to see it, softball quesitons or not.

What would give you any idea that Tiger wouldn't insist that he have complete control over what topics could be discussed? That's been his modus operandi for a very long time. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that I'd want Feherty to dredge up all the garbage that led up to Tiger's run-in with the fire hydrant, nor would I expect that whole mess to even be fair game. OK, let's agree to keep that off limits, but let Feherty ask whatever he wants otherwise, without Tiger imposing any other restrictions. Even with the knowledge that Feherty is fair-minded and would do nothing to try to embarass him, I'd be shocked if Tiger would agree to sit down with him...unless, of course, he could have absolute control over what is asked. We'll just have to watch and see if happens...and, if so, under what restrictions.
