   Bill:

Of course, you did exceed my requirements of a reply of 30 words or less.    I never thought you would because its human nature.     :(

Usually, I find your comments to be interesting or amusing, but here you come across as a Troll.    There is never any justification for belittling someone because they expressed a different opinion from you about Tiger Woods.   I did not read the article  dealing with Faldo's view on Tiger's lack of confidence because I am not concern about Faldo's view.  Come what may, win or lose, I shall be watching Tiger as he plays @ the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship May 3-6.

When you found the information about Faldo's personal life you should have merely read it and moved onward to the next story.     lol

As Club Tiger's stat man kindly stick with statistics and leave the personal trash about the rich & famous to others like TMZ.     lol

Finally, I stand by my assertion that Sir Nick Faldo knows the game of golf.       :)

I hate posts about personal life, even if it seems justified as a getback. We should stay away from those attacks.

So let's just discuss Nick's remarks.

1. He starts off saying this was how he interrupted Tiger's recent quote that he was taking time off away from golf and his clubs. To Nick this seemed to mean a lot of negative things about Tiger's mind and golf confidence. It's a little funny; but Tiger stated virtually the same thing after his Chevron victory: I'm taking time off to recharge because I've been working very hard at it.

2. Nick stated that Tiger's putting was off; yet I remember that being the only thing working and kept Tiger in the tournament. Tiger said that on Sunday.

3. He mentioned that it will be very difficult to get his confidence back. Well, there are several others of less skill, Lee Westwood comes to mind, that have done it. I have total confidence that Tiger can do it. I remember very well in 2006, Tiger looked totally lost in the US Open, missed the cut badly, then won the British Open.

4. Overall, I thought that Nick was professional in his analysis, no cheap shots, he kept to the golf swing.

Just my opinion; but Tiger has really developed a control game based on fade, low cuts, stinger, and controlled irons. At Bayhill, he really turned through the ball and got to his left side.  If he fears at all, his front leg, ankle, etc, then he will be tentative or he'll revert back to old methods that protect those parts.  If that happens, you'll hook like crazy or blocks shots to the right. I really hope that Tiger is not experiencing some concerns about recurring injuries here.

No real credibility about this on my part, just a fan's worry.

I just listened to what Faldo said and I think there is a lot of truth in his analysis
I suspect Tiger agrees that it is going to take some time for him to rebuild things
I think is a very honest man.

Just wondering, Did Bill call you a name or something?

Exactly the reason many posters shy away from the board.......nonsense!!

First.....the commentator's name is Faldo.....Sir Nick Faldo to be exact.

Second......jealousy.....LOL.....Faldo was winding down his career as Tiger was surging!

Third.....Sir Nick Faldo is an accomplished golfer.  Ranked OWGR #1.

Fourth.....Sir Nick Faldo is an experienced commentator with the added benefit of having been on tour.

Fifth.....Just because someone points out a suspected flaw in Tiger's performance on course, does not mean he is "jealous" or "unknowledgable" or a "wannabe".

There I said it.....now I'll join others you have unrighteously placed "under the bridge"......

PS.... Bill is not the only one who can recite stats!  Sir Nick Faldo:  6 majors (3 Open/3 Masters), 40 prof. wins, #1 OWGR 98 weeks, Hall of Fame: 1997, CBS lead golf analyst since 2006.
