DO establish a game plan, before the round - not during the round

DO get the correct yardage to both the front of the green and to the flagstick

DO know when to go for it and when to play safe

DO accept that there is such a thing as a "good" bogey

DO play your own game; let your opponent play his

DON'T let an inflated ego do the same thing to your score.  Avoid the "big" number.

DON'T chuck it at the first sign of trouble.  Stick with it.

DON'T get fooled by tricky pins; play to the fat of the green when necessary.

DON'T attempt a specialty shot in competition that you haven't practiced.

DON'T ever aim your shot so that if it goes straight it will wind up in trouble.

DON'T forget that its just a game.      Remember > HAVE FUN . . .
