I would ask the questions that addresses the criticisms against him. It would be an opportunity for him to give his side of the things since he says many of the books and articles written about him are one sided.

i remember Tiger saying that he had received 5000 questions.

and i agree.  the questions will be screened.   so.  i guess you

are right about that.

but i am glad he decided to go the route he went with the questions.

it's kinda sad.   as the old adage goes.

one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.

maybe if some of the less absurd journalists

began to put pressure on the more absurd

ones, it would be better for all.

but there are those journalists who won't take

"i already tole' you"  for an answer.  lol !

Tiger does really seem to be a very

personable individual.   and i would assume

that he really opens up to a select few and his mother. 

and i wanna know just as much about Tiger

as the next person, but  "spilling all your beans" .........

i don't know.   if he wants to talk about it, i wouldn't

mind at all.  i would definitely listen.  but if he does not. 

then that's ok with me too.

 
but here is something i think works with everyone.

of course you gotta know what you are doing and to

what extent, but being able to laugh @ ones self  is a

great way to let off steam,  and disarm your enemies, etc.

i mean.  i don't think it's necessary to divulge deep dark

secrets, but there's so much stuff that we all, already know............ but;

it's his call.

I think it is a great idea that he will be answering questions from his fans instead of meeting with the media. In his tweet he asked for questions relevant to Quail Hollow and The Players.

the questions will be answered.............  tomorrow.   i hope.  at least

He does not have to divulge deep dark secrets but, he could diffuse some of the misconceptions like why he does not sign autographs. I know he does sign autographs at every tournament but, he does not spend 20 minutes like Phil and others. I suspect he spends a limited amount of time signing autographs due to security concerns so why won't he just explain it and this will be one less knock against him. He could explain why he chooses not to get involved or comment on social issues since that is something that has dogged him throughout his career. 

People are still mad about the club throwing and cussing. Tiger could explain that he's always had a potty mouth and it's a work in progress but, he won't because he and Mark Steinberg are still trying to resurrect the phony image he had three years ago. 
Anyone who believes they've heard and seen the last of Tiger tirades is fooling themselves. He'll do it again because he's set in his ways and it's hard for him to change.
He could address the allegations of being hard to get along with by explaining if he has trust issues or if he just prefers to keep people at a distance. Instead he let's people speculate and they draw their own not so nice conclusions about Tiger.

I think the format he's using could be useful, depending on the type of questions he chooses to answer but, if this q&a session is anything like his previous q&a sessions on twitter and facebook, the media is going to rake him over the coals. So again, he will go into another tournament with a scandal over his head.

I also think its a smart move for Tiger to get away from talking to the media before a tournament because all they seem to do is ask the same annoying questions and try to through him off his game. He needs to answer to the people who really care for him and who has his back and want him to succeed!! Maybe avoiding the sometime back stabbin media for awhille maybe they will think before asking stupid questions!!!!    GO TIGER GO!!!! YOUR FANS LOVE YOU!!!!!!
