There was someone on this forum in the past who called himself "cheetah woods" .  He used to rail away at Tiger, to the point it became obvious that he had a very self righteous and condemning spirit.  There have been many of those at times in here.  When I first heard of what Tiger did, I felt some anger and disappointment that he would do those things.  But I have learned in life the truth that "I am the chief of sinners", and so my whole perspective is based on Galatians 6:1, which calls for us to "restore" someone who has a fault, which by the way, is, at times, all of us.  I was basically appealing to all such negative people to be redemptive, to forgive, to separate personal issues from competitive golf, and lets move on and enjoy this golf season.  I sense that Tiger is at greater peace, and I am glad for him.  We all care for Tiger, and for Elin, and hope they both heal, grow, and forgive. 

I imagine she felt that way because she had more personally invested in John Edwards than Tiger. We enjoy Tiger as an entertainer and a great athlete. She was planning for John Edwards to be the leader of our country. That obviously carries great responsibility and requires that the American public have total trust in this person. That is no doubt why she felt so strongly about what Mr. Edwards did. What Tiger did hurt himself, his wife, his children, his mother and disappointed his fans. What John Edwards did changed the entire landscape of the Presidential campaign which affected millions of Americans who believed in him wholeheartedly. I can understand the difference for her.

Like I said earlier. I think it was because one just wants to beat Jack Nicklaus's record and the other one wanted to be the leader of the free world. Seems like a pretty big difference in perspective to me.

Probably felt that way for two reasons:  a)  Tiger wasn't trying to run for President of the US, b) Tiger didn't have a baby with another woman while his wife was dying of cancer!!!!!!!  Ya think??????
