kuki,

i know it hurts to think about what Tiger went thru.

but he has come out on the other side a winner!!

and we now know because of all the changes in his

life, he had  many things going on that we were not

aware of at the time.

of course his marriage/divorce are private matters.

but regarding his game, many people who know the

game and who know Tiger, knew something was

wrong years ago, but just did not know what it was.

then he revealed that he had been struggling with pain

since '97!  imagine that!  since 1997!!!

and though he continued to win all those years, it got

to a point where he was putting stress on his body

to get the job done and some of his chronic injuries

worsened.    BUT HE WAS STILL WINNING!!!!

....... because he is a phenomenal golfer!    :-)

and of course we all love to watch Tiger play golf.

but he knew better than anyone else, that he was

going to have to do something in order to prolong

his playing career.  and this year, he wisely, took

the time off to get healthy.

regarding the commentators, i do not know all of the

types of things they were saying, because i honestly

did not watch a lot about it, nor did i read a lot about it.

so if johnny miller spoke about it too much, then

shame on him for doing so.   and hopefully he has

learned his lesson.   i hope so.  it took me a while

to get to like johnny miller.   :-)

now.   some of these people may have tried to break

Tiger down.............  but that has not happened.

he has secret powers that they do not know about.   ;-)

just kidding.

but.   i agree with you.  i don't think Tiger will ever be

the same either.    NO WAY!!!   and personally i would

not want him to be the same.  and guess what.  yall

don't know about the wrong stuff i have done, but i don't

want to stay  the same either.   i want to be changing for

the better every day.  and i hope Tiger does too.  and i

hope we all want to change for the better also.  :-)

i think Tiger will only be better!!!!

there are consequences in life for incorrect behaviors..............for all of us.

and what goes around comes back around ...............for all of us.

and some of these die hard haters will find  that out soon enough
.

but i think Tiger will be the first to say that his own

hand caused his own trouble.   and he has suffered

some consequences because of it.

but when any of us make a genuine and continuous effort to

change for the better,  then things can begin to change for us.

and  i truly think that Tiger is working on being better

not only at golf, but also at life.   he actually has said so

many times now and i believe him.  i think he is on the

right track.

so again.   we agree.   he will never be the same.

he will only be better!!!!

i myself want to change for the better too.

and i hope you and everyone reading this has a desire

to change for the better too.  :-)

cheer up, kuki.  i know you care about Tiger.

and i believe THE BEST  is yet to come.

:-)

Tiger will be just fine, mentally and financially. He has already recovered financially, the mental problem is coming along just fine.

Who is Johnny Miller???

Well I researched and this is what I learned.....perhaps you will all have a little more respect for this man!!

Turned pro in 1969 and remained active until early 90's when he "retired" due to knee problems and putting "yips".  While on tour:  He won 2 majors (US Open '73 and Open '76), he has a total of 25 PGA Tour wins and 32 world wide wins plus 105 top 10's.  He played on two Ryder Cup teams, was money leader in 1974 following a season that saw him win 8 times!!  He is in the Hall of Fame (1998), designs golf courses and has been with NBC Sports as lead golf analyst since 1990.  During his golf career he played with such greats as Jack Nicklaus, Payne Stewart, Tom Watson, John Cook, Mark O'Meara and Seve Ballesteros!!

Is he a "failed" golfer who's comments mean nothing?  I surely don't think so!!

Miller is a pain in the fundamental orifice .But he does know a bit about golf.

Johnny miller was a very competitve golfer and had a lot of raw talent.

Maybe he is a tad jealous as he wishes he could have kept it going for more than a few years near the top.

However as an analyst he is intriguing & knowledgeable and is entitled to his opinion.

He calls things as they are and in fact on many occassions has pointed out that Tiger is still

dangerous and he would not doubt it if he made it back to the top.

If you want "homer" announcer fan than tune into the Yankees radio announcer who will tell you every starter is the greatest player out there..I want NON politically correct commentary!

Why is it so difficult to accept that there might be other golfers out there just as skilled as our Tiger. I admit our Tiger is the best, but there are others who play well, too. Even Johnny Miller. Some of them even have great personalities as well. Our Tiger is not always a candidate for Miss (Mr.) Congeniality. He does his best though. He does have a gorgeous smile and many other attributes we admire, but he is not perfect.

Exactly!!!  Miller can be rather blunt and can let some pretty stupid words escape his tongue.  But he does know golf....he has felt victory and defeat as well as injury.  Sometimes I feel posters here just take everything the media says as pure attack on Tiger.  Hey....he's not the only golfer out there!  While we feel he IS golf....there are some excellent challengers waiting to win a tourney taking Tiger by 1, 2, 3 shots.  After all....Tiger only wins about 1/3 of the tournaments he enters.  2012 is going to be one exciting year ;-))

It is what it is!  Life is good!!  And life with Tiger winning is even better!!!

Excellent research. Well done. The man knows his game and that is why when Tiger returns to true form( minus the attitude), Johnny Miller will be the first to say he is the best ever! That will mean a lot especially saying it on a NBC telecast to millions of viewers!
