Hi!

I read your post and agree with you entirely that Tiger did (and still does in my opinion) bring magic to this game.  And I am a huge fan.

I come to this site to cheer him on good, bad or ugly when he plays.  He has had a few good turns and a few bad ones but he is coming back and I will be here when he does.

I don't come here to read about his faults or how badly he is playing or what he "should" be doing.  I just look at the facts and any positives and move on to the next tournament and cheer him on again.

This is not a "deep" undertaking for me but it is important to me to be able to cheer him on here with other fans who wish him well, too!  It's like going to a Redskins game (been a fan all of my life) and sitting with other fans of the Burgundy and Gold - I don't want to sit with the Cowboy fans!!!  Nor do I want to hear them during the game! That's not to say that their points aren't valid or without merit.  They are, after all, Cowboy fans!!!  :))

Everyone is entitled to their say - in a respectful manner I hope - respectful to the others here and to Tiger - this is, after all HIS site!  And there are enough Tiger-bashing sites online that would welcome one more.  Plus the media has a field day everyday at his expense.

I think what I am trying to say here is that I understand what you are trying to say.  I haven't seen what you've described so I can't and won't speak to it - I'm just putting in my two cents that this place to me is a place to bring my pom poms and my beer or wine or diet coke and spend time on the sidelines with my friends in burgundy and gold each time Tiger tees off and to cheer him on to win!  Nothing more!  Nothing less!!!

Does this make any sense????

 

It is always a breath of fresh air to hear people not complaining.   but i feel that recently TROLLS have tried to over take the forum by complaining about those who disagree with them.  I will say this to anyone that will listen, post what you want... say what you want and take all with a grain of salt.  I believe myself to be a TTF and i wear that badge proudly.  If  you are a troll i expect no less then to hear you critize and try to make me respond.  I will say this to you:  Get off it.  Find something eles to talk about because you won't change opinions here.  Do you really think that making people mad at you is that important?  I really don't care what you say, how you say it, or if you try to hide negitives with fluffy words that mean nothing.  Get a hobby, learn a trade, do something,,, but, making others respond to you in a negitive way does nothing for you or anyone eles... GO Tiger, get 74, 75 and 76 and get 15.   We root because we like your style, your game and we really don't care what others have to say..... .

 You make a lot of sense. But think of this. Ask yourself what a TTF is?  Do they have to offer up their first born to be a TRUE fan? Is the TRUE fan the one who posts the most animations? Maybe a TRUE fan is the one who posts the most threads with Spammed stats. How about the TRUE fan being the one who belittles Rory Mac or any other golfer the most?  The point is their is no definitive answer. I have followed Tiger forever. I class myself as as loyal a fan as their is. But I do follow and appreciate other golfers. I do listen to other views. Nick Faldo is as knowledgeable a commentator as there is. He speaks I listen. I might agree I might disagree. On here that is a crime in the eyes of the Bullies. If you take a close look at these 4 they don't contribute a thing that has any real bearing on golf. Eye produces animation and cut and paste. Nothing about golf that is original. Bill produces the same cut and paste Stats 4 times a week. Paul cuts and pastes jokes and tweets, and backs Bills mindless Stats and Under, she writes infantile letters to Tiger. Harmless but childish. They all have one thing in common. Anyone who dares offer an opinion that doesn't fit their narrow minded views WATCH out. You will be hounded off these threads. It happened to me. They were full of bile in their posts.  If anyone is stupid enough to talk golf and it's NOT 100% fawning over Tiger they get attacked.  This is the truth. Sorry if you find it unpalatable

Sorry Kloudy, I will "IGNORE" them in a minute in "Step 3" of my program  (LOL) . . .

We all have "screen names" (its how forums are designed) , yet for someone to hide behind a second "secret screen name" as well, is clear evidence of someone running a clandestine operation on this forum, with pure resentment for Tiger Woods, and hatred for all (loyal) Tiger fans.  This notion that he/she fears backlash from Tiger fans (just because they disagree) is a lie; and by the way, it happens to all of us. 

They are enjoying their new elite celebrity status, in their  "witness protection program".   

Why should this person have "protection" from others that tend to disagree with their opinions, yet other Tiger fans do not have the same protection?  Troll attacks each of us directly, on a daily basis (calling us all by name), and gets the satisfaction of being allowed to get away with it. 

I have a VERY GOOD IDEA who this person is, based on the message (behind their message), and I have received emails from others who agree with me.  This person (called Troll)  has been here for quite some time, and Eye have argured with them many, many times on this board, about their recurring "strategy" of claiming to be a "true Tiger fan, yet can only seem to find fault in him; while constantly praising and defending his ex-wife and other golfers.

This false idea that he/she started this thread to "defend" someone that wants to resign, is ridiculous.

FOR THE RECORD:  If anyone here (really) wants to "resign"; then, simply say goodbye and "resign".  It is not necessary to "threaten" to resign, and organize a "focus group" about the pending resignation.  (LOL).  If you are suicidal; then (for God's sake)  climb the bridge (in the middle of the night) , and JUMP !!

Under the American Constitution, we are allowed "to face our accusers". 

We will not be silenced by "political correctness"; and you will never succeed in stopping us from cheering for (the great) TIGER WOODS!

On cue one of the lead Bullies is attacking again. The analogy of the Granny on the bus is perfect. Eye is a keyboard warrior. Even suggesting suicide as an option. You don't scare me. Don't know about all the other non-involved members of this board, but to me, this thread has become extremely boring with constant belittling of each other and serves no useful purpose, in my opinion.

Therefore, it is closed.   I strongly suggest that no one start it up again on another thread because that will lead to immediate banning.
