Good morning everyone.    The adventure(s) of the great Tiger Woods continues!!!!       :)

Tiger needs to shoot at a minimum 65 not to win but merely to participate in a Playoff.    No one playing the U.S. Open Contest here predicted or saw a 75 for Tiger's 3rd round.    After the 2nd round even Johnny Miller thought the engraver's job was over and saw Tiger as the eventual winner at the Olympic Club.    This thinking came to a halt shortly after 10pm ET on Saturday.

In order to win the 2012 U.S. Open, Tiger must do it on Monday.     Therefore, good luck Tiger, I know you know what you must do on Sunday.  

                                         

Get your POM POM and the cheer leading squad ready and don't forget the oxygen, we'll need it!!

Yep, Tiger know what  he needs to do, but don't count him out!!

Still in with a chance of course..Probably needs a -1 1st 7 holes and see from there...Back 9 Major Sunday brings unreal tension and he's gotta be there to take advantage of any slip ups..Go TW!!!..

 

 

 

I have not counted Tiger out.  

But, Tiger is a realist.    He will know where he stands as he watches the final group of Furyk & McDowell finish their 4th rounds later today.    When that PGA Championship a few years back finished on a Monday, if you recall Tiger had already left the venue (I believe it was in New Jersey) and returned to Florida.   He will take the same approach today in California.    If, he knows he will not win or be a participant in any playoff---  Tiger will leave for home once again.

I agree, PD, am happy to see him playing within contention. He has already had a heck of a year. The majors will come, as we saw he was so close. And still is. Some of the bounces on this course have been crazy, sideways.

Hey Doug..Just needs a solid start and in some ways let the leaders come back to him..Got to put himself in position heading into the bck 9..
