I agree. The entire tour seems like it has gotten ridiculously slow. I even have noticed it on the European tour. I do believe it will have to be addressed in the very near future or I think fans will start tuning out. I spend most of my time pausing the television and then fast forwarding through all the ridiculous practice swings, waggles, and generally slow play. Drives me cuckoo!

And I thought Furyk was bad!!  I would think at their level......look at the shot, check the yardage with ya' caddy, pick at a club, 1-2 practice swings then let 'er rip!!  I wouldn't be able to play with someone who took that long to set up :-))

When you play with someone like that it just destroys your rhythm. You are always hurrying up to wait. I find when I play with slow players that I hurry around like mad in an effort to compensate. I mean I do it subconsciously until I realize I am doing it. Usually by then it has screwed up at least two or three of my scores. I find it quite frustrating and I cannot imagine a pro having to put up with this.

Several golfers have nervous antics and Keegan has several such as spitting, checking the shot line 3 times , etc...It is not worth mentioning as it is not any different for him than the routine a baseball player up at bat.

When people like Tiger, Phil Jack Nicklaus spit it stands out as they do not normally do it.

What I was impressed by was that there were many bad shots on the back nine today and no one dropped a club or jammed the club into the gound. Watch this coming weekend and you will see Tiger is over that nonesense as well. Tiger will make it to the final round Sunday...and he will do it with class!

Cameras were on Kyle Stanley yesterday when he hit a poor shot and they did a big cut away just as his club was coming down in a "slam" and as one of the announcers began to comment "oh-oh a little frustration peeking through".......never saw a repeat of that shot!

It happens.....it will always happen.  It's often ignored....but sometimes not.  So be it!

Golf is a gentleman's game. How dare he spit on the sacred greens.

You ever watch major league baseball or the NFL......heck they even plug one side of their nose and blow!  Not to mention that Keegan had one pretty goobery spit on the tee box!  The point is, until there is a rule it will continue to happen and EVERYONE should be scrutinized the same way!
