Beat, EARL JR says there was a relationship. I question how much closeness there could be between a pre-schooler and a man in his 20's or between a middle school kid and a man in his 30's. Especially when that adult didn't even live close by and only saw the child a few times a year. I don't doubt the man had a relationship with his Dad but what's that got to do with Tiger?
As for a comparison between Earl Jr and the hired help (Haney, Williams, etc.), Earl Jr probably saw less of Tiger than any of them during Tiger's whole 36 years and probably doesn't have much to tell other than whining about being left our of Tiger's life and pocketbook. If he's so hooked on the blood relationship and so "fond" of Tiger, why in the world would he give an interview like this where he definitely criticizes Tiger and even makes that ugly "donor" statement? A case of do as I say not as I do???
As I said before, I don't have any more inside info on this family than anyone else but I've followed Tiger since he was about 9 years old and although I knew from news coverage that there was a "previous" family, I never saw Tiger's siblings at any event he played nor were they part of his inner circle. Royce's name did come up during his college years as offering a home-away-from-home for the 2 years Tiger was a Stanford and she was amply rewarded for her sisterly kindness - a new home!!!
Earl Jr needs to take care of his own family and spend some time with Cheyenne before he tells his younger half-brother how to live! Seems like his ex-wife, his father, and even Tiger are mentioned more often by her than her own Dad. Guess when she turns pro and signs some big endorsements (which will happen just based on who she is), he'll expect her to help him out too?
