the man posted a score and got in the club house.

and won.

and he was not in the last group.

i'll tell you what.

anything can happen with golf, which is why you

have to hang in there (like you say)  & play your

best til the end.

to give up can be a  big mistake.  and i remember

looking @  the score board @ one point, i think Els

was -3.    and i thought to myself, Els can come back

on you.  

and that is just what he did, very quietly.   and of course

he won.

What a classy man. How ironic too 3mos ago was not qualified for the Masters. His post sit down interview with I think Tom Rinaldi was heart warming. He gave birthday congrats to Nelson Mandela & spoke more in depth about his friendship with him.

I can't imagine there'd be too many people who wouldn't be happy for Ernie Els today. The guy is a class act. I do feel badly for Adam Scott (but not for Stevie), but Ernie earned the win. On a day when everybody was struggling, Ernie played like a champion. Good for him!
