Totally agree Von.  I am a purist and want to see him wear a 100% BRIGHT RED SHIRT.  GO TIGER  BEAT 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am not saying I don't like this shirt---I am just saying i don't like this shirt for Tiger in a major!

Okay, many fans here will probably totally disagree with me here. But, here I go.

I wish Tiger would win 5 more major tournaments SOON for a total of 19 major tournaments. Then, I wish him to wear a good-looking shirt that is not even red on major Sundays.

I'm going to carry your scenario one step further Lucky. Then I want him to win major #20 wearing something other than a red shirt proving to EVERYONE that he is the intimidator with or without a RED SHIRT!!!! Won't that be awesome????!!!!!!!

No because Tiger is the red shirt. That's what has made him who he is. He wears it because his mom suggested it to him because of his college colors. He will never change that.

I understand what you stated. I remember the story you recalled. But, I think shenlee got the gist of what I envisioned. It is like once you become a grandmaster you express yourself differently.

I agree Tiger has made the red golf shirt the mark of the "intimidator". And I too have read the story of his mom's suggestion. I just think it would be cool for him to win his 20th Major without the Sunday red shirt. It would be like a "jab" at everyone who thinks the red shirt is why Tiger is successful on Sunday in the majors.

Hi Osubss, thanks for posting Tiger's shirts once again. much appreciated. I have question. Do you know if Nike script any cold or wet weather apparel for Tiger to wear if required, or do they just leave it up to him? Kongo

Great question!

In most cases, when he's playing somewhere the weather is a factor, jackets and rain pants are part of the scripting. In this particular case, no weather apparel was scripted.

This season's fall apparel line is hitting retailers this month, and there are a couple jackets that are a part of the line. Very strong possibility he will wear one of those jackets at the Open.

I say "jackets", but it's really more of a cover up. They are quite nice. I'll ring a picture to post.
