HEY SHEN,

Thank you so much . . .

I am glad you are enjoying it as much as I am.

I love this book, and the hands-on way our Tiger presents it.

Its truly a labor of love for me.

Kloudy,

THANK YOU . . .

I'm so glad you are enjoying it (big smile) !!

We all know what a private person our Tiger is; therefore, it makes this gift (of knowledge) from him so very special.

As we begin this "Summer Series" of tournaments that Tiger has agreed to play; we can feel closer to him in thought, as he ponders his moves, and navigates around the golf course.

More to come . . .

             PERFECT YOUR POSTURE

                      GOOD POSTURE . . . DON'T HUNCH OVER

With PUTTING, little things can make a big difference.  One of the fundamentals sacred to me is posture.  That applies not only to how I position my body mechanically, but also in the degree of relaxation I feel before I take the putter back.  I believe in standing fairly tall at address.  That enables me to see the overall line to the hole better than when I'm stooped over close to the ground.  What's more, it allows my arms to hang from my shoulder sockets in a loose, comfortable manner.  That reduces tension right away.  My arms also have more room to swing back and through during the stroke. A lot of players accept the idea that they will have good days and bad days on the greens and therefore don't work at it.  In fact, study and practice produce results.

STANCE: Its up to you . . . because there is so little movement in your legs and torso during the stroke, the width of your stance is more a matter of comfort than anything else.  Some players feel a wider stance gives them a feeling of stability and stops them from swaying.  Others feel a narrow stance helps them stand more erect and gives them a better view of the line.  I've varied my stance width over the years, and have putted well with both a narrow stance and a wider one.

                        TIGER  TIPS

THE DO'S AND DON'TS OF COURSE MANAGEMENT

DO establish a game plan, before the round - not during the round

DO get the correct yardage to both the front of the green and to the flagstick

DO know when to go for it and when to play safe

DO accept that there is such a thing as a "good" bogey

DO play your own game; let your opponent play his
