The last time Tiger played Byron Nelson was 2005 when he missed the cut. I remember that dramatic putt to make the cut which he did not make. I doubt he will play there again but I may be wrong.

yes, tiger needs the reps, but for some reason, is not getting them. what's the reason? the kids? his obligation to nike? he keeps saying he needs the reps almost like someone or something is keeping him from them.

its no secret the elite players scale back their schedules so they are fresh for the major events. tiger is no exception. but unfortunately its become a double-edged sword. i'm sure he endured a bit of peer pressure last year by playing the fry's, a mere fall series event made for players that are trying to keep their cards. i don't see him trying that experiment again.

if anything, he'd rather give lip service to getting the reps than actually getting them. does he need them, really? the guy's got seventy-some odd wins and umpteen majors, a lock for the hall-of-fame and every other award and accolade the golf world can bestow on him. so he doesn't break jack's majors record. so what. he's done everything else.
