Pulp Fiction, Forest Gump & The Shawshank Redemption all came out in 1994. Which one is best?

That's a really hard one!!!!   I'm going to pick Forest Gump.

it's really unfortunate that Shawshank Redemption came out when it did. it never got the recognition it really deserved.

it's easily the best movie i have ever enjoyed.

 

 

It was an excellent movie with one of my favorite actors Morgan Freeman

Now this is hard... All great movies but I love love love Pulp Fiction. Shawshank is a close second!!

 

 

 

The answer is easy.   The best of the three is "The Shawshank Redemption" followed by "Forest Gump" and then "Pulp Fiction".  Why?

"The Shawshank Redemption" is a well rounded movie.    It has a thoughtful theme and a great ensemble of actors.    The story revolves around the false imprisonment of an innocent man and his resourcefulness and cunning to defeat an injustice under the American legal system.    Many in America can relate to the main character's situation.    Additionally, the actors all  came prepared to work and hit their marks.   lol    The brutal life inside jail was shown and also how men bounded inside its walls.    There is more to say about this movie but I am not writing an essay here today.   lol

Tom Hanks' acting was superb and he earned his Oscar.    But, the story in "Forest Gump" was truly a fairy tale.   lol

 I do not understand "Pulp Fiction", what is going on?   I  cannot determine the timeframe in the movie.       lol   

 

Did not see Pulp Fiction, enjoyed watching Forest Gump, but my #1 vote for 1994 goes to Shawshank Redemption

Pulp Fiction is the best of those three, hands down. It's actually one of my top ten movies all time. A little weird, I'll grant you, but a great movie.

Pulp Fiction is the best of those three films. Samuel Jackson was great and I love Uma Thurman. Music was pretty cool as well.
