Given eldrick's problems of not being able to handle the pressure and close the deals on the major weekends, how will he do at the Ryder Cup?

terrible, just terrible. is that what you want to hear?

Given the fact Eldrich always gives excuses I'd say terribe especially in partner competition.  Tiger said after the round “I was trying to stay loose, maybe too loose so it shows I didn’t take it serious enough.”  I think if I was interviewing I would have had to laugh. I'm rooting for you Tiger but with comments like that it's hard to.

Tiger's Ryder Cup record is 10-13-2, which isn't very impressive. Given that he's had a good year in 2012 (except for the majors), I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he'll go 2-2 this year.

wow, that's awful generous. but i don't want to hear about tiger. tell us about the european ryder cup team, especially what you think rory's record will be.

The US team has a losing record over the past 10 matches, so most of the players have poor records. You can certainly choose to be negative on everything Tiger and state your opening post in a very negative and biased view. His record in singles is 4-1-1. The partner results reflect team play, not just Tiger's performance. Let's get real here and perhaps for a change show some support for one of the US team members, unless of course you insist on being anti-american team..

A bit antagonistic are we?

If it's anything like the last President's Cup where both Stricker and Johnson played terrible as Tiger's partners, then his record will be helped along by the singles match.

Tiger has actually played well in team competitions back to the 2009 Presidents Cup. Undefeated there, 3-1 in the 2010 Ryder Cup, and went 2-2 last year despite poor play from Stricker and Johnson. I believe there was a stat that said Johnson missed 16 putts inside 10 feet when he and Tiger played 2 matches as a team last year.

So, in his matches he's 9-3 in the last 3 team events he's played in. That's a good trend for this Ryder Cup, coupled with the fact that he's had tremendous success at Medinah.

Well, Club Tiger here we go again.    Last year, it was, should Freddie put Tiger on the President's Cup team due to the state of his game?   Couples selected Tiger and the rest is history.

Tiger will play great @ the 2012 Ryder Cup.    That's the end of the story boys and girls.

Now it is time to go watch golf central.    Good day to all.              lol
