 Donna. I've spun this thread off the other one.  Doug is intent on being disruptive, so I set him up on his own 1066 thread.  All I got was rudeness and defiance.

   This topic might have no legs, but that's OK.  If it dies a painless death that's fine.

If you've any questions just ask. I might or might not know the answer. LOL.  If anyone has any questions I'll do my best.

William W , are you really Scotch?  I Loved Braveheart. :)

Statman.  You've made a very common mistake. Happens all the time. Scotch is the amber liquid and Scots are the people. :)

Braveheart was a fun movie.

well the difference between Scots and Scotch.  LOLOL  love it

LOL. It's very true. Some Scots find it insulting.  I couldn't care.  I've been called a lot worse in my life. :)

  You'll never forget the difference now.

Scotch = the amber nectar.

 Scots= The big hairy guy wearing a skirt :)    ( Maybe the women are like that too )

Thanks. I've learned something.  I'll now know the difference. I'd better not go into my bar and ask for a large Scots. LOL

When is the best season to on on a Haggis Hunt?
  • 8/7/12
Never in mating season or when the wee haggi are in the early weeks. They mature fast and the young ones are easy to see so easy to avoid when hunting.  best time is late summer. Most agree it's when the haggis is the best fun to hunt and they are at their most flavoursome.
  Tradition says haggis should be eaten with a dram. I like a rich merlot if the haggis is a yearling and fresh and tender .

   Hope that helps
