I've seen my fair share of moronic articles written about Tiger but I think this makes the top 5, this guy seriously is lame and ignorant.

Sometimes you wonder to yourself how did these people get hired to write.

I want to see Tiger pass Jack's record  as much as the rest of you, but this constant moaning about what if he doesn't is getting to be a bit much. He has a record to be proud of regardless. Is the world going to stop turning if he doesn't surpass Jack? I doubt Tiger will collapse on a golf course somewhere when the chances of success are slim and none. That day has yet to come. I will be among the first to send up the fireworks when he does reach his goal. I just hope Tiger comes to terms with whatever measure of success he has when it is evident that that goal is not attainable, for him.

TIGER IS A WINNER, NOT A QUITTER. WE ALL SPELL HIS NAME CHAMPION AND WINNER.

It's a writers opinion. Why get so upset?

No matter who or where you are, you will generate lots of debate and hits on your blog with the Tiger will not win more majors article or the total opposite - Tiger will pass Jack's record. It could be on ESPN links, Golf Digest, Golf Channel, CBS morning news report, probably even The Weather Channel.

It really doesn't matter what I think or what these writers think that will determine the final outcome. It's what Tiger thinks and does about it.

He firmly believes that he'll pass Jack and keeps that as his goal.  As Henry Ford said: "If you believe you can or you believe you can't,   you are right".

He WILL PASS SAM SNEADS record...so 1 of 2 is not bad.

If it DOES come to him not passing Jack.

i think when that time comes, tiger will be able to measure success in other ways. the amount of wealth he has generated, the millions of fans and supporters, the people helped by his foundation. these are outstanding humanistic efforts for which tiger should be very proud.

I agree with you. Tiger is mature and sensible enough to know that there are many other ways of measuring success.
