Just read an article that it was reported that Tiger swore on the 11th tee on the second day of the Open. I watched the entire tournament and don't  recall him doing any such thing. Can't remember which day, piossibly the last, I remember him swearing at himself because of a poor shot..something to the effect of God dammit Tiger!  Tiger may have done it but why is he always the one who is being scrutinized? There must be people out there whose sole purpose is the follow Tiger just to trip him up on anything. How pathetic! The article even reminded the world of his being fined for spitting!

Great post.

The way I heard it, something like, God dog-it Tiger. But could be wrong for the first time this year.  LOL

tiger is always fined for something.  But hopefully it was applied equally to all of the players because Tiger wasn't alone.  At any rate, we were on delay (I called it the swear delay) which is why some were getting the action a few seconds quicker than we were.  So we didn't see the incident because they edited it out.

I did hear it loud and clear.......but on the re-run it was cut out.  Plus, I never heard the commentators say even an "oops"......  I do agree though that fines need to be spread equitably.  And I believe they are.  Neither the USGA nor the R&A state publicly who, what for, and how much.  So the media speculates, as always ........
