Tiger, I'm as big a fan as there is, since Stanford days -- but I have to ask.
Is this what the new swing is for: to hit irons off the tee, into the fairway (usually), and finish top 5? Is that your goal?

Pull the driver out of the bag, and learn to hit it where you're aiming.
Stop giving away 40, 50, 60 yards off the tee.
I understand your Open strategy - but there will often be someone that can hit driver in the fairways, and otherwise has comparable skills. He (they) will beat you.
