Would anyone who knows, please contribute here to let the rest of us know, where and when we can see Tiger early, on any source, so we can then help the main thread of rounds at the Brit? I am guessing Directv will be on air early. Am I right? I get the feeling ESPN is no where as good as past TV channels have been? They sound like GC to me.

watch espn on the internet has coverage starting at 3:30 am. the bbc feed starts at 4am, also on watch espn. its the most complete coverage you'll get, direct tv or otherwise. here's the link...

Directv is offering 5 channels of coverage but no featured groups as far as I can tell like they've done in other tournaments which is a major disappointment.

They will have a mix channel, espn coverage, holes 1 and 18, holes 9, 10, 11 and international coverage which I assume is BBC.

It all starts at 5 am.

I will definitely be checking it out in the morning, particularly the international coverage.  That I think though will be following the likes of Westbrook, McIlroy, et al.

the europeantour.com also has an audio feed on their website.  However they generally concentrate on the european players.

If you've got no live streaming you can still follow the tournament online. Just go to the European golf tour leaderboard and pick the player you want to follow. It works for me because I can follow players hole by hole.
