Tiger Woods, Sergio García and Justin Rose will form the most mouthwatering trio when The Open tees off at Royal Lytham & St Anne's on Thursday. Woods, a three-times Open champion, will begin at 9.42am.
It is the fourth time at the Open that Woods and Rose have been paired together in the first two rounds. The duo were also partners at Muirfield in 2002, Carnoustie in 2007 and St Andrews two years ago.
Lee Westwood, making his 58th attempt to lift a major title, is alongside Masters champion Bubba Watson and Japan's comparatively little-known Yoshinori Fujimoto.
The defending champion, Darren Clarke, begins his defence at 9.09am alongside Ernie Els and Zach Johnson.
