Please someone tell me that  Chris Berman will not do the announcing.   His coverage of the US Open was so bad sometimes I had to mute my TV.  A golf commentator he is not!!!    What were they thinking????

I agree, and Berman is the #1 reason I don't watch espn

We live in perilous times whereby sporting events no longer are shown on network tv channels for everyone to have a chance to see.     Now, the Open Championship will no longer be shown LIVE on ABC.    That is too bad!!      You are correct, Chris Berman takes away from any golf broadcast .    TNT did an excellent coverage of the Open Championship when they had the rights to broadcast it.  

Although The Open can be a real bore to watch ( when Tiger is not in the field) ( mainly because the announcers are so dull, the play slow, and weather outlook so dreary) I totally look forward to it because of the time of day we watch it here. broadcasts start approx 6pm and go through the evening. Tell me what could be better than sitting at home in a comfy chair when it is cool outside, wine glass in hand and watching Tiger play!!! ( well of course actually being there would be better, but you get my point!) Kongo

lol - well, here on the east coast of the USA, we'll be curled up in our pj's, with our coffee, in the air conditioning, watching at O dark hundred!!!   I think I prefer your schedule!  

O dark hundred--that's some funny stuff DK---LOL. Never heard that before.

And I would prefer your schedule to mine, here on the Left Coast.
