I am surprised that Tiger is taking heat for his play this last week. Tiger knows. And what he knows is that at Greenbrier, he had to be at least -5 underpar going into moving day to win it. Tiger did not enter Greenbrier to walk around the course, talking. Tiger went in to win. Tiger WINS at least 1 WIN in every 3.5 or better than that starts in PGA events. That means, 3 in 4, Tiger will not win. Get used to it. And Tiger took some chances, found the water one time, because Tiger knew it was a low number that was going to win on that course. Two guys got lucky. The winner birdied twice and eagled once coming in the last four holes. The same guy in 7 starts on the PGA tour had 6 cuts. Tiger had about that number of cuts in his entire pro career. Tiger knows. So, in summary, Tiger wins 1 WIN in less than 4 STARTS, and in the other 3 you can expect to chill and enjoy the fact he is out there. Does not get any better than that, and that, is better than most.

of course these are awesome stats.

but @  That means, 3 in 4, Tiger will not win.

UPT:

Over Sam Snead's career, he probably played in over 800 PGA tour tournaments, with 82 wins, about 10%. Jack Nicklaus had around 15% winning percentage. So, Tiger's 25% winning percentage is really very impressive. This year, 3 wins in 12 tour events.
