Tiger:  No doubt motivation will be taken from the 7th Federer Wimbledon triumph. His stoic facial presentation reminded me of your 2000-2008 days. In that regard I trust you will appraise the Greensboro film and come to terms with the 'deer in the headlights' and despondent looks on more than quite a few occasions.

Unquestionably, high performance success under pressure and the preferred element of achievement can only become a certainty if your internal conviction is without insecurity.

Its easy to have a stoic face when you are playing superbly!!!!   I've seen Federer look as despondent on the tennis court as I've seen Tiger on the golf course when things aren't going well.  Tiger's look when things aren't going well is frustration and anger at himself.  I don't believe Tiger has a problem with insecurity!!!

Tiger does not suffer from insecurity.   Someone who does could not have withstood the turmoil of the last two and a half years as Tiger has.  It takes a man with steel for a backbone and strong inner convictions of his own worth to take everything they threw at him and come back a winner!

Great description of Tiger's belief in himself. Pretty accurate, too.

Hi Kloudy.  Thank you for the compliment.  Happy to hear we think alike regarding our Tiger!  Am patiently waiting for next week, life is dull when Tiger is not playing golf.  From his blog he sounds rested,  confident and looking forward to The Open.  Go Tiger, bring home the Claret Jug and #15.

Agreed.  That will be a Sunday to remember, as so many others have been.
