Has anyone here received unsolicited email from others on this board?

Yes I did, a few months ago. I put them on spam and reported them to yahoo, which is where the account was.

Probably from the same _______ .

Jane , be sure NOT to awnser the e mail... the person will know your email address if you awnser !!! IGNORE & REPORT!!

Forward the entire email to Donnakaye....let her know it was unsolicited.  Then I would follow the advice PaulSr. gave you.  Most importantly, don't respond to the email because then they will have your private email address.

Well....if they sent you an email, they already have your address.  I had someone who thought it would be "cute" to harrass me personally a couple months ago.  I sent the email to DK, and sent a very stern message to the "jerk" that if he contacted me again, I would be contacting the FL attorney general.  She's a tough cookie and it is a crime in FL to harrass through the internet.  I did get a second email from that "jerk" and did forward as promised to the AG.  Never heard another word and the "jerk" was banned by DK.

 

How do I forward to dk?  I haven't answered and don't plan to but it was a particularly nasty insulting email.

Copy/paste the email into a post to DK.......at the bottom of the page there are four tabs:  post, preview, cancel, and options.  Click on options and select "reply via email"......that way only DK will be able to read your post with the copied email.

Will the post show up here or only go to DK as email if I select that option?

NO, VG... if someone send you E mail, by clicking on your name on the forum,they DO NOT know your private email, they only when you respond!!!!!
