I looked at Tigers schedule and we could find him playing 8 of the next 12 weeks.   Makes the assumption that he makes it to the tour championship.   I guess he could skip the first round of the FED EX after the PGA which might give him an extra week of off time.

He probably will play the first FedEx event because it is at Bethpage.

Anymore with the current system, its hard to skip events and be in good position. If he wants to win the FedEx Cup (not saying its all that important though), he better play at Bethpage because the 2nd and 3rd events are not his cup of tea. The Deustche Bank is a birdie fest and the BMW Champ is at a Pete Dye designed course and Tiger struggles on Dye designs.
