Said he likes a fast course. Said he limits his schedule to stay motivated and inspired. Said he's looking at opening a TLC in Thailand while his Mom's still alive to honor her just like the one in California honors his Dad. Said he respects what LeBron James did. Said there is a lot of trash talk between he and other fellow pro athletes in other sports.

He also said he hasn't done much practicing since the U.S. Open because he's spent time with the kids.

Tiger said he had some influence in getting an exemption to get Beau Hossler into the event as well as Jordan Spieth.

That's a lot of great things he is doing...honoring his Mom in Thailand, spending time with his kids and helping Beau & Jordan into the Open...great stuff!!!!

 

 

 

I watched today's presser and when Tiger mentioned Beau, my brain went blank.   Beau who?    Then, tgc clarified the name and I remember him now.     His mother was so proud of him. 

GC Rymer noted that Tiger is not panicing -- he is in a good place with his game.

I thought he looked calm..cool..collected.

Said again that his knee is pain free.

 

 

 

I found it interesting to hear Tiger praise Sam Snead and Billy Casper during his presser.    Both of these golfers played their best golf before my time.    I did not know until day from Tiger that Billy Casper won over 50 tournaments on the PGA Tour.    I knew he won the Masters because I saw him play it as a past winner.       :)

Great interview!!!  Tiger appeared relaxed, eager to play, and lots of smiles!!  Would have liked more questions about the foundation and the work he has done and continues to do.....but the questions asked seemed fair (for a change).

Also liked the post interview follow up by Charlie Rymer......one of the few on GC that I have any respect for!!
