Westwood is a good player, but he plays his best golf overseas.

his accomplishments golfwise have been pretty impressive re:

how he re-grouped and pulled himself up by his boot straps

and actually found himself in the # 1 golf in spot ...  twice.

and he continues ( at the time ) to remain in the top ten.

impressive because before he accomplished this, he said

he was considering quitting  pro golf. 

he has also been an inspiriation to Tiger regarding Tiger's

most recent rehabs, etc.

but.   three of the 4 majors are played on American soil.

and if he is really serious about winning a major ( and he is good enough)

he may be thinking that he needs to spend more time here

playing on American courses, which have their differences

from European courses, etc.

if he really moves to America, i hope it will be a good move

for his wife and children as well as himself.

I read another article that stated:

1. He was tired of the winters in England, not enough good weather to practice year round.

2. Very few of his tournament commitments are in Europe, so he can get there from the states.

3. He wants his children to have better weather for more outdoor activities.

He picked a good time to move. I hear property values in Florida are at an all time low.

I wondered if Westwood would choose Orlando or Palm Beach area . I guess its Palm Beach...lots of Twitter chatter about Medalist GC.
