Aaah, i see muff muff and toothless tiger get my meaning.Tiger is not a mere golfer. But at the moment , he is playing like one.Who is webb simpson compared with tiger.i don't care that donald and mcilroy missed the cut.Or that Furyk and Mcdowell gave up their 54 hole leads.Tiger did not play good golf. Not as goods as he should be playing. That is the reality. The greatest golfer of his or any generation folding on the weekend of a major.thats just the performance of a mere mortal golfer.

Look at this season's stats. Not as good as Tiger should be.

No he is not as good as he should be, but he is making progress....

Remember last year he was winless.... There were complaints then.. Now he has won twice this year and there are complaints.

Tiger needs time... He will never be the golfer from 2000 and I don't expect that!!

So what would you like Tiger to do?

TIGER WILL BE BACK, HE WILL BE THE TIGER OF 2000, ONCE HIS MUSCLES ARE USED TO THE NEW SWING, AND HIS KNEES ARE USED TO THE NEW SWING.

HE DID GREAT IN THE US OPEN FOR TWO DAYS, HE STOPPED EVERYBODY WHERE THEY WERE. HE STOOD IN THEIR WAY.  I GUESSED HE RUSHED A BIT ON SUNDAY.

LOOKING FORWARD TO BRITISH OPEN.

That's what a lot of people are saying!!

We will have to wait to see what Tiger will do.. I just don't believe he is finished or done like some suggest.

I don't know if we will see 2000 Tiger, but I do believe we will see a Tiger that is competitive and wins!!!!

You didn't respond to my offer of you paying for me to go to the PGA Championship! :)

Along that line of thinking, I found it interesting looking at Webb's tour stats up to the US Open. They were actually pretty bad: Total Driving 151, scrambling 156, sand saves 139, ball striking 75, but scoring 18th. He obviously turned it around enough to win.

Obviously, Tiger played much worse versus his stats at the US Open. He has stated before, it is a progression with him, doesn't seem to just click at once, and majors need a higher level of confidence. It goes like: he has two good rounds, then three rounds, then competing on Sunday.  He still has time to turn it around this year at the open and pga.
