Rudy Duran, Tiger Woods' First Golf Coach,
To Endorse Accu-Length
System
LEAWODD, KS – Rudy Duran, the man who first helped the Woods
family create an environment where Tiger Woods could develop his golf game,
knows a thing or two about junior golfers. He also knows a thing or two about
junior golf products. So when Tiger Woods' first golf coach talks about the
Accu-Length Pro Quality Expandable Junior Golf Club System, people will
definitely listen.
Duran, who coached Woods from ages 4-10, has been
named the spokesman and official endorser for Accu-Length, the first and only
patented golf clubs designed to grow with your child. As one of the premier
junior golf coaches in the country, Duran wouldn't put his personal stamp of
approval on just any product.
"The Accu-Length expandable clubs are a
great idea," says Duran, who is based in Paso Robles, California. "It is an
extremely unique and much needed product because it is just as important for
clubs to fit juniors as it is for adults. Accu-Length, is a common sense
approach that addresses the old problem of cutting down clubs."
Several
years ago Duran was quoted during an interview as saying "I believe that golf
should be fun for children and the most important thing when they are first
beginning the game is to encourage them." Accu-Length provides perfect fit and
properly fitted equipment gives kids a better chance to succeed. Success is
always fun in sports."
"We are proud to have Rudy Duran involved as an
integral part of our company," says Rick Rutter, President, COO and Co-Founder
of On-Track Sports, LLC., the parent company of Accu-Length. "His early
involvement with Tiger Woods shows how he can nurture a great talent to their
ultimate success. We expect he will be able to do the same thing for
Accu-Length."
Duran's involvement with junior golf goes far beyond
coaching Woods. He is presently the Secretary for the Board of Directors of the
First Tee Central Coast. Duran has been organizing and conducting junior golf
programs since 1971, the year he turned Pro and has received awards from the PGA
Tour the Southern California PGA and California Golf Writers for his
contributions to golf and junior golf. His junior programs in the Central Coast
of California presently have 850 kids enrolled. He will be using the
Accu-Length System at those programs in order to give his students the best
possible fitting equipment so the kids can develop good swings and have fun
playing the game of a lifetime.
"Rudy Duran and Accu-Length are a perfect
match," says Rutter. "Rudy is a great advocate of junior golf and Accu-Length
is a great advocate of top-quality, easily custom fit junior golf
equipment."
