I have watched you play since you were an amateur and rooted for you. But your performance at the Open makes me lose my patience. You have one problem holding you back from resuming your position as the greatest golfer in history, PUTTING!!! While you have occasionally demonstrated some tee to green problems, they would disappear if you could elevate your putting. I haven't played golf in 15 years and when I did I was a 21 handicap. But I could straighten out your putting game. I once had Ray Floyd make a special trip out on a golf course to tell me he was told that he should take putting lessons from me.

There are three things I would do to put your putting back at major championship level as follows:
1. Change your putter; and
2. Change the way you strike the ball; and
3. Change your grip on the putter.

Fly me down to Florida for 3 days to walk a golf course while you play and I guarantee you I will make your putting problems disappear. I would expect your putting accuracy to increase to 80% instead of the 50% you are now at.

Even though you may not take me up on this offer I will still be rooting for you in the future and waiting for the old Tiger to return,
