Tiger is definitely getting close to winning a major. The way I see it is that late 2011 and early 2012 Tiger got himself into contention in PGA tour starts, but struggled on the weekend. Finally though, he was able to play well and win events at bay hill and the memorial. Now he was able to play well the first two rounds of a major, but the weekend pressure got to him. I think at the next major, we will see Tiger able to play better than he did this weekend. He is definitely close, but justs needs to get used to pressure of majors on the weekend again.

imo, had the us open followed the memorial on the schedule, tiger would've had a better chance of winning. the week off definitely hurt him. he lost some mo.

Tiger never plays in a tournament the week before a major. If the Memorial had been the week before the US Open there is a good chance he may not have played Memorial.

Tiger played well Thursday and Friday but, had a mental meltdown on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday he was trying to do too much and dug himself into a hole. Sunday he started off trying to do too much again. Perhaps he needs to start chanting or mediating before his rounds so he can relax his mind.

Tiger plays the week before a major once every year. Firestone.

I think you are right. I look at it this way. He finished tied for 40th at Augusta and tied for 21st at the US Open. He is jumping 19 spots at a time in majors. Puts him on track to win the PGA Championship although I would more expect him to win The Open Championship.

GO TIGER! BEAT 18!!!!!!!!!!!

2012 will see Tiger with four tour wins and one Major. Maybe even five tour wins - and two Majors.

Tiger will also be the come back player of the year, if they do it this year. 2011 they did not have the come player of the year award.

Thank you.
I'm always right. Once I thought I was wrong, found out later I was right.
