He had a poor tee shot so he smashed the microphone.

What if Tiger did that? Has Tiger ever destroyed someone else's property?

Saw video of Sergio Garcia smashing microphone with one of his clubs. If he smashed the ball like that, he wouldn't need to smash the mic.



As far as I know Tiger never did anything like that. If he did, even 15 years ago it would still be a headline.

Tiger's playing great. Rather than celebrate that, you'd rather look for what others might be doing wrong. What's wrong with this picture?

I was however replying to another post !

Having a small laugh about what Sergio did !

So of course someone has to find fault with it, as is normal !

Sergio will probably be fined pretty big by PGA and European Tours, and maybe get the bill from NBC. Let's just go with "It is what it is".

More interesting and important was Tiger's reaction to his bad luck on 6th hole after his chip shot. He wanted to slam his club; but he restrained himself and then went about his business. He was in control of his emotions all day on a very difficult day.
