I have been a member of TW forum for a long long time. I've created a one-off name for a single post. Villages is correct. This forum is being run on hate these days and it's NOT from the Trolls.Underpar,EYE, Paul, and Bill, won't entertain one alternative view. They  have become the forum Mafia.Why Donna refuses to rectify this is beyond belief.  Very recently Pendragon enlightened the forum he had a famous brother.  What more could a golf forum want ? Inside information from a great source. Does anyone  ask him about his brothers experiences? NO.  It's all "Waldo say X about Tiger. "  It's" a reporter in Oklahoma said Tiger is cheap." 4 posters are killing this forum. This forum is being killed by the so-called TTF's. Before long there will be a small group. You people scare me. I've often thought about speaking up. But I haven't  Villages spoke up and has been hounded off the forum. You hunt in a pack. Bill posts the same Stats day in day out and Paul and Under can't wait to say" great Stats Bill."  You used to be individuals, you now hunt in a pack. I haven't posted in my normal ID much. Villages announcement made me write this.  Tiger has millions of fans and 4 thugs control this forum.

"Hi all, I am deeply saddened to see VG go. He was part of what I call the core group of original TTF's that have been the soul of tghis board for years. UPT, Bill, KD, DK, Granny, Team Tiger, Paul, Peadar. I'm sure I am missing more great ppl on this board. The list goes on and on you guys are great. However, I believe there has been a certain negativity on this board since around last years PGA and this board has lost some of it's integrity. What a shame it is. There are fairweather fans, and trolls that have made this forum less and less friendly. When I first began reading and posting on this board in the fall of 2010, Tiger was struggling, but there was a friendly tone to this board. This board's greatest threads were arguably when Tiger played JBWERE Masters and the HSBC champions event. Actually, Troll, much of what you said I agree with.   However, I'm unsure exactly how you would like me to rectify it?  Do you suggest we ban the 4 folks you mentioned, several of whom have been here for many years?

I have called out various people for being too quick to tell a poster to go away or for being unfriendly.   However, just as I've asked them and others to modify their tone, so have I asked everyone that if there is a thread you dislike - DON'T READ IT AND DON'T POST ON IT!   Don't like stats?   Ignore Bill's posts.   Don't like "rah-rah" stuff?   Ignore Eye and UPT.   Don't want to see famous quotes?  Ignore Paul's.  

The only person here required to read them ALL is me and I just most of the time shake my head quietly at stuff that annoys or amuses me and read on.   Why is that so difficult for others to do?

I hate to see VG leave too but she's a grown woman and must make her own decisions where she wants to invest her time and input.   Over the 15 years or so I've been on this forum, many folks have come and gone......it's the nature of the beast.

Ahhh!!!!  The voice of reason!!!!  We'd all like to go back to the fun virtual party days where that's all we had to think about was what we were going to contribute to the virtual menu and cheering Tiger on!!!!

Obviously you are welcome to your, opinions. Not a problem.
I would like for you to tell / show me where I have called out anyone, for complementing Rory or Phil, or for comparing them to Tiger. Because I don't care. The only 'person' I say anything negative to is the returning troll who, ENDLESSLY stalks and attacks me, Bill and others. The troll who very often gets vulgar with his comments towards myself or another members of these boards, he also got very negative towards Donnakay yesterday. Some, and at times, all members will be attacked by the same 'person' for anything they say, even when it is in jest, they (and myself) will be attacked. I got several negative post from the troll for the Twitter thread, why I have no idea, it's a fun thing and many members enjoy it. The forever returning troll of multiple names is not the only one to attack everyone. UPT, Bill, EYE and myself can take the attacks up to a point, then need to say something, which is what the troll is looking for to feed his / their sick ego.
DK asked me to stop replying to them and I have been doing my utmost to do just that.

Clearly, you have a thankless job. But allow me one question. In reviewing some of EYE's posts, do you not find a recurring mean-spirited tone there? I think we can agree that VG was a pretty sincere fan of Tiger, as well as one who loved the game of golf. Look at some of the posts from EYE that were directed at VG. I don't think she deserved even a small portion of the criticism heaped upon here by EYE. During my time here, I think VG contributed much more to this forum than EYE did, yet EYE stays and VG feels unwelcome enough to call it quits. What's wrong with this picture?

 I assume that everyone on this forum is an adult, reasonably intelligent, and interested in talking about Tiger Woods. The various threads do introduce a variety of opinion and positions, all of them probably valid. I certainly don't want to offend anyone when I disagree with their opinions by expressing my thoughts on the particular subject. I would hope that applies to all. It would be a lot more enjoyable to avoid personal attachs on one another.
