Just gave $6,100 to match all your donations. Did I mention our scholars receive 41%
more funding than the average scholarship recipient plus mentors, internships and workshops?
We are so grateful for every dollar, so let’s keep this going!

I know!
I wish I could give more. Every child that wants to go to college should. I have received a lot of benefits from being in the military but I know everyone can not go, so I try to give.

He has a wonderful program!!

Sr.

thanks for posting this.   Tiger does awesome things

and i would love to see someone write about it !!!!

but none the less, whether someone does or

does not write about it, these college students will

be blessed by the opportunities they will receive and

and so will Tiger for giving to  help others.

i believe he will raise all the money needed to

reach his goal to help these students.

and these students will be jubilant when it is

confirmed that they will get the opportunity to go

to college.

just awesome !!!!!

and the fact that the Tiger Woods scholars receive 41% (nearly half)

more funding than the average scholarship recipient is incredible. really !!

and they also get mentors, internships and workshops too.

this is a full package!!!!

:-)

Sr, DK and missy,

i agree with you all.   it is a phenomenal thing that Tiger/The Tiger Woods Foundation is doing.

they have been quietly helping youngsters for years now.   and i would love to see news

organizations do  huge stories on it.   yes.   right now would be the perfect time to do it too!!

i would love to see news organizations write articles to help bring this phenomenal work to light

to people all over  the country.   yeah.   right in the sports sections all over the country.   even on

the front page.    why not!!!   i believe such articles would inspire many people (who don't do facebook,

and other places where this knowledge is common place knowledge),  to also give to the

Tiger Woods foundation for this worthy cause.    i mean.  all he is suggesting is for people to

give a dollar - five dollars, and more if they so desire.   if a million people give a dollar, that's

a  million dollars.   yeah!!!

and i would especially love to see those involved in all things golf to "talk it up".

afterall, look at how Tiger has breathed life back into golf in general and also how many

golf businesses/organizations have been established since the "advent of Tiger Woods Golf".

:-)

upt ~

The Money being raised for the Tiger Woods Challenge is managed by Tiger Woods Foundation!

i like that aspect of it!!

i just made my donation.   it wasn't much.   but i don't always use my credit card online that much.

so i purchased a gift card for the amount i wanted to donate ( $20 )  and made the donation

that way.   :-)

at first my donation did not go thru, so i had to call the number on the back of the card and

register my zip code.   after that, i was able to make the donation.   but when talking to the

people at the number on the back of the card, they said sometimes Pay Pal won't let you

make a donation unless you talk with them first.

so, i called Pay Pal, but i was not able to speak to a representative.   i am saying this because

if you make a donation which is larger than mine and you are using  a gift card, and if the card

does not go thru, etc.  you also   need  to know that ,

the gift cards are non- refundable.

so if you wanna try the gift card route,  and you wanna make a donation larger than mine,

try it with a small amount first, like i did.

and if you are successful with that, then consider your larger donation.   :-)

just remember!!!

the gift cards are non- refundable.    and i don't want yall mad @  muah!!!  :-)

whew!!!

that was a mouth full.

anyway.   for those of  you who are making donations, you will find a way to do it!!!

there are 21 days remaining for this challenge!!!

and remember, Tiger will match each dollar !!!!

AWESOME !!!!!!!

:-)

UPT, thanks for posting Darryl Robinson's op-ed.    It was a hard story to read.  Hopefully if Tiger gets a chance to read it, maybe Tiger can contact Darryl with a word or two of encouragement.
