THE HATRED AND PURE JEALOUSY (AGAINST TIGER WOODS) IS STUNNING!   I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT . . .

Win (or lose) on Sunday at The Masters; TIGER WOODS is the greatest golfer this world has ever seen (or ever will see) in our lifetime.  Move on to the next tournament, and win there!

The amount of hatred displayed this week towards Tiger Woods is simply stunning, shameful, and inexcusable.

Chris Domino (the fat, bald guy) in the trio on CBS – 790 The Zone, spent the entire post-round show bashing Tiger Woods. He said openly that he does not like Tiger. “Tiger Woods has no chance of winning The Masters or any other golf tournament”; “Tiger is a disgrace”, and Billy Payne and management at Augusta National should BAN Tiger from playing there”.

Every show that I heard on ESPN this entire week had commentators that openly criticized Tiger Woods.  They spent thirty (30) minutes “promoting their shows” using the name of Tiger Woods (“stay tuned, we will be discussing highlights from The Masters, with updates on Tiger Woods, coming up in (15) minutes)”; then, after a long series of commercials, they spend the next segment promoting all the other players; analyzing their games and their chances for winning.  When they discussed the greatest golfer the world has ever seen (Tiger Woods), they discussed the fact that he tossed & kicked his golf club.  No mention of Tiger’s  game at all.

Once again, the media uses Tiger Wood’s great name and star power to promote their show; only to trash Tiger the moment the camera is on.

Finally; I am sick and tired of all the so called “fans” constantly doubting Tiger’s ability; doubting his sincerity; doubting his dedication to golf , and some even have the audacity to question his integrity.

SHAME ON YOU.

People fail to realize that his other two swing changes took about 2 years until he was comfortable with them and that was without any injuries. Tiger changed his swing I believe around September 2010, it has not even been 2 years yet and he has been injured a few times in the process which has slowed the progress. Tiger showed at Bay Hill that he is very close to getting his swing changes down. This week at the Masters has been a minor setback, but is understandable because his body still isn't completely comfortable with the changes, and as a result he went back to his old swing. As long as Tiger stays healthy he will be winning much more in 2012 and beyond. As for all the haters, you just have to ignore them because they continue to go against basic facts and logic. Once the swing becomes second nature, he can stop being so technical and just focus on playing golf.

It's very blatant. They don't try to hide their hatred for Tiger. Listening to Rick Reilley and Skip Bayless go at it and both say they don't want Tiger to win or break Jack's record was sad. Jack is not saint either.

If the commentators you mention (Rick Reilly and Skip Bayless) have said that they don't want Tiger to break Jack's record of 18 major wins, are they not entitled to voice their opinions? These are two people who have little association with golf, so why would you care what they think? They may or may not have valid reasons to feel the way they do, but why concern yourself with them?

Pure Jealousy EYE.......that's what it is and dare I say, this is a "good ole boys" club that they never expected  a man of color to dominate and I'm a caucasion woman.  This hate disgusts me, you would think that people would want to witness history in the making.  2+ years wouldn't have happened to other pros on the tour and we all know many of them do it.  When TW gets all the cylinders firing, he'll beat Jack and Snead!

The question for tomorrow is, does the man who is the greatest show up while he is still changing his swing or does the wailing PM, who couldn't do anything duriing these 2+ years show up.  His arthritis must not be hurting that much as hard as he swings......celebrex alone doesn't alieve that kind of pain at least not what he described to us.  PM could just as easily fall apart tomorrow as Tiger could make up 8 shots.

LIGHT IT UP TW!

EYE: Well said. If people believe Tigers' setback at the Masters is all swing related and that he's finished; they're partially incorrect.  Most golfers know there's a direct connection between  muscle mechanics and the brain. Tiger became great by dominating the mental aspects of the game (in simpler times), but now there's a constant influx of media clutter. Haney's book, a video, a half brother with his hand out and of course Tigers' discretion's over the past two years. Unfortunately our society thrives on insignificant  gossip about the rich and famous, mostly because people live shallow and boring lives. It is hatred and jealousy and it's about ratings and advertising dollars. I have no way of filtering these stories and quite frankly I don't really care what Tiger does off the course(except for his foundation) all I care about are stunning golf shots. Kicking a club was a rare thing to see at the Masters, but it was a sign of the intensity Tiger plays with and the challenge of  new swing thoughts. The fact that people were 'stunned' is amazing. I wasn't bothered in the least bit and nor does his swearing bother me. How about this; turn off the microphones and further I'd rather hear Tiger swear than Phil and Bones jabbering about a club selection that should take a pro about a microsecond to determine.
Temperature, wind direction, pin placement, humidity, lie, soil moisture, elevation changes, mud on ball and distance. Simple.
What about Rory's collapse? Hmmm.

Go Tiger, Sorry Freddie, Thank you Augusta

Tiger19majors,

GOOD ANALYSIS . . .

Any other golfer having to experience all the things you just mentioned (simultaneously), the way Tiger has, would probably be in a hospital somewhere; certainly would not have tied for fourth (4th) in the last two (2) Masters, and won the Arnold Palmer Invitational !

That (fat; bald) guy also said Tiger would not win ANY PGA tournaments this year; and that Tiger's win at The Arnold Palmer Invitational "was a fluke"!

Its early in the 2012 season; more Tiger is yet to come.

Love your screen name, by the way.

Big smile,
