and all is forgiven.    and apology accepted.  this excerpt from your presser on the front page:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I apologize if I offended anybody by that," he said. "I've hit some bad shots and it's certainly frustrating at times not hitting the ball where you need to hit it. I certainly heard that people didn't like me kicking the club, but I didn't like it either. I hit it right in the bunker and it didn't feel good on my toe either."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

well, Tiger.   lol !!!  you hurt your toe.    and i am sorry you hurt your toe, but it made me laugh

Good post, UPT. Tiger was sure brave when he stepped onto the tee today. I hope he learned some lessons from these experiences this tournament. Still love him though, don't we?

Tiger knows that kicking and cursing is not a good thing to do.
Hurt your toe!!! Lol

Yall know Kultida got on to him! Lol

hi sky.    i hope all is well, buddy.

you know.  when i read Tiger's

apology for kicking that club, i

was just so proud of him.

nobody is perfect, but it takes a

real  man/woman to make an

apology and he did that.

that settles it for me.   plus.

his sore toe will help him think

about it too.

but it was just so funny when

i read it.   :-)    love his sense of humor.

i am believing he will have a better day

tomorrow.    i know he was frustrated.

and i don't blame him.  frustration is a

normal emotion.   we all experience it.

but the key is how do we handle it.

oh well.

tomorrow is another day.

but he can make me laugh sometimes.

GO TIGER !!!

You may be right. I'll bet his mom did let him have it. It's nice to see he can see a little humor in what happened.

Tiger has a great sense of humor.

pay closer attention and you will

see it more often.

TW needs to stop apologizing, because, he continues to look weak and to make an easy target.  He's 35 yrs old - when is he going to start standing up for himself?

Ms M,  :-)

i totally disagree.  i think it made him look like the responsible man that he is.

no.  he is not the only one who does that, but it was caught on camera.  it

looked bad.  plus those types of actions can sometimes be dangerous to the

gallery and also to the golfer.   i don't think he needs to apologize for

everything, but in this case, i think it was a good decision.  :-)

he didn't look weak at all to me.  he looked strong.  because he is strong.    he is a strong man.

it took nothing away from him.   it just made me respect him more.

it was not long and drawn out, and plus it was kinda light hearted too, especially

when he talked about hitting his toe and he was smiling.

Ms M you have been here a long time.   but i don't know if you remember

Tiger's struggles with course management.   he literally was beating himself

and losing tournaments because he would not control his emotions when he

hit bad shots and it always continued to carry over to the next shot, and the next,

etc.  and he, though being a marveous talent, was losing tournaments.

but thank goodness for commentators in the know such as Kenny Venturi and

Curtis Strange and Mike Tirico, etc.   they consistently spoke about Tiger's need

to develop good course management, and to quit beating himself, and it happened,

and the rest is history.

i just think that with so much focus on the swing, etc., that poor course management

has crept back up on Tiger unawares and is wreaking havoc in his game right now.

but he is a smart guy, the best golfer in the world, and he will figure it out.

:-)

I think they will start to leave him alone once he stops taking their abuse and stands up for himself. I don't  see the point in apologizing because you know he's going to do it again. This happened two years ago after "the public apology tour" he said he would temper his language and behavior on the golf course and,  it lasted for ooh about um three minutes and he was back to the old Tiger.

I doubt Momma T said anything. I hear she has quite the foul mouth herself.
