Parts of the interview got really ugly.

I'm thinking Hank Hiney is sorry he agreed to that interview.

Surprised he didn't hang up the phone sooner.

That's the first time I have seen 'BobsBlitz' but will look it up again.

Thanx 18

Thanks beat...I've been reading the transcript from golf.com...big fan of the carton radio personality guy now... he really needled hank with the though questions...obviously tiger and elin were having marital problems...and carton is right what does tiger's marital problems "not being able to watch tv after dinner time" have to do with golf.  Tiger didn't want his personal dilemmas out in public, I don't know anybody that would want to do that too.  Hank definitely betrayed tiger's trust.  Hank keeps bringing up excuses after excuses that "he is not the first coach to write a book" etc.  Loved how carton asked him if he would be okay if somebody wrote a book about his personal life.  Hank responded in silence

here is the link for anyone that is interested

It's all very well taking a poke at Hank Haney. give him credit for having the nutz to go on, knowing he  would  get a rough ride.

Would Tiger go on a show like that?  Not in this lifetime.

I'm glad other people read the book and asked questions that were not complimentary.

You need that in journalism. Now sometimes journalist can go too far!!! However I believe

people will side with Hank Haney because they are soooooo interested in who Tiger

is as a person.

Nonetheless Hank's book is not all who and what Tiger is... He has admitted that he and

Tiger never had a real (deep) conversation. In saying that... Hank only observed and noticed

certain things...

This is why Tiger didn't tell his A%$ anything real personal....

Imagine Tiger telling Hank about private conversations about Elin. Or about what he really felt

during treatment? Although Hank had a right to write the book.. He is wrong for putting some

things in there. He had to know that Tiger was trying very hard to put that moment behind him, but

here he goes with a book!!!!! WHATEVER!!

I'm a private person as well.... I would be apt to pop him in the mouth! But this is the world

we live in..... no one cares!!!

Just because others write books does not make it right.

I never liked Hank Hiney, before, during or following his coaching of Tiger, have no interest in buying or reading his book.

Above all, EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO THEIR OPINION.

I've listened to several interviews by Hank and he has the same talking points. The main one being "they're not just Tiger's memories, they are my memories too or I'm not the first coach to write a book. " That does not wash with me because for starters he maintained the book was not a tell all and that it would be about golf. Another reason is that not all of his observations took place on the golf course. You can say what you want about Phil Jackson and Joe Torre. They were not revealing details about what went on in the privacy of someone's home. Does Hank have a right to write a book in light of him not being under a confidentiality agreement? Sure, but the public also has a right to their opinions. I would have more respect for Hank if he just acknowledged his motives for writing the book and admitting that it's not about golf as much as it is about exposing Tiger.
Instead he keeps trying to sell us, "it's history about the greatest golfer of all time." This has nothing to do with history this is about satisfying the public's need for dirt on a star athlete and making a buck. Not necessarily in that order.

I dont think so!!!
I might read it one day, but I not going to buy it.
This book is self serving at best. People will make
money off of anything .....

We all know Tiger does give a _______
He just won this past Sunday.

I think some of Tiger's fans are just tired of hearing what
A bad guy he is... I dont care!

Let Tiger play and live his life.
