today it really looked like tiger mailed it in. he missed putts i wouldn't miss. i think it was more important to him that he was palling around with tony romo (and we weren't).

I didn't get to "see" todays round. Thank heavens. I had a long car ride home with my son and we listened to it on XM. There where several comments about the "look" on his face. I've read several accounts of the round and they commented on the "look" too. I have seen "that" look on his face too. Many times in the past 30 months. I don't know exactly how to interpret it. Does he care. Maybe not. My best guess is: it is the look of a man who doesn't BELIEVE in himself the way he used to....

No he doesn't care. He's just out there to destroy his legacy and to be sure people remember him for being mediocre than being a legend. *sarcasm*

Tiger is not a robot......he is human with human emotions.  IMHO when he is frustrated with his game, he often has the look of "golly let this end".  He shows his emotions on his sleeve.  Disappointment at bad shots or missed putts.  Club twirls and fist pumps when he hits 'em pure.  He does care.  He is a perfectionist.  He won't be happy until he can play the perfect round and take the trophy on the 18th.....

Patience.......trust........believe!!  It will happen SOON!!

I think he cares, otherwise I doubt he would continue to do this to himself.

I think you have to look at Tiger in the context that golf is golf.  There seemed to be somthing eles behind his eyes on sunday that wasn't there on the previous day.  He seemed distracted.  Now, Tiger never makes excuses for his performance, he only says that he didnt play well.  Phil had a really good day, he played better than any golfer in the world on sunday.  He deserves the credit for what he did.

Tiger, just didn't have it for what ever reason.  That was not the first time in 15 years that Tiger faltered on sunday.  Every golfer does it!!!  The sad part is we hold Tiger to such a high standard that we don't understand why he doesn't pull out a 65 or 66 everytime we watch him play.   I heard someone say his nerves are gone, or his talent is slipping, but wow.. people, the season is early and compared to last year, his start to this year is much much better.   When Tiger gets on a roll, you will see just why we expect great things from him!

I sincerely hope Tiger DOES NOT read any of the posts on this forum. I mean WHO ARE WE to dissect how this man lives his life or any other man for that matter. I am truly tired of anyone and everyone coming on this message board and "arm chair" quarterbacking Tiger's golf game and his life.

We are nothing more than his fans. We are not his father, his mother, his wife, his children, his sister, his brother. We have no right or business deciding why he is playing or not playing a certain way or if he has a certain look or if he is wearing shoes we do not like.

If you are a TRUE TIGER FAN you understand this post and know exactly where I am coming from with my statements. If you are NOT a TRUE TIGER FAN get off this message board and STAY OFF.
