WHAT DOES HE KNOW ABOUT GOLF

HE SHOULD GET LESSONS FROM TIGER

Well, we really don't have any reasons to tune in TGC till Tiger play his next tourney! They used to televise Tiger's highlights all week, the week of Tiger's birthday, I'll check and see if they do this again ,if not, then Abu Dhabi it is!!

I heard Miller say some really good things about Tiger on his Aussie swing.......

The program is is not all Miller.....it's also Nobilo, Faldo and others.  Never know....you might pick up a good golf tip ;-)

 

Yup, He said good things because he knew that in December his golf ruining lessons are starting and

He is gonna make lots of money with the Advertisements in between the programe

We were wondering, why was he so good to Tiger

Just maybe he "saw the light"??? 

Seriously.....golf is difficult sport to comment on.  These guys are sitting in a booth looking at monitors....they know how to play the game, but need to fill the lag time between shots with "commentary".  Perhaps they are guessing what the next shot will be or should be.....maybe they guess right, maybe not.  Perhaps while waiting for the next shot, they share some stats....sometimes what the share is interesting and informative....other times it's just "dribble". 

Miller started turning the tone during the Aussie Open.....guess he was beginning to see what we all were....Tiger making definite strides. 

We will continue to hear comments comparing the new Tiger to the emerging 1999 Tiger.  Rory (or another young gun) vs Tiger of 2000 and today.  It will never go away.  So.....guess we ought to get use to it!  That doesn't mean we have to like it......just take it in stride.  Mute what we don't like ;-))

 

 

 

 Thanks for the reminder about tgc showing Tiger highlights in the past around his birthday, Dec. 30th.    I will check their schedule to see if any such shows appear this year.

  Also, I make it a point to watch tgc, espn and PTI  the Monday after Tiger's wins a tournament.    The comments are interesting with a mix of pro and anti Tiger discussions.

I agree, lately Miller has had Tiger's back when 95% of the golfing media was pooping on everything Woods did. Still, I hate most of TGC's non tournament programing and ONLY watch their "live" (I DVR it) golf coverage when Woods plays. If he isn't playing, and/or it's not a major - I 'd rather mow my lawn.

it used to be that i could not stand Johnny Miller!!!

but he actually has mellowed, imo, over the years,

and he has kind of grown on me.   i think.

sometimes he still says something that i don't like,

but all in all, i like Miller.   much more than i used to.
