While new to this website, I am no stranger to watching Tiger. I've followed his career both as an amateur and as a professional. I would have to echo the sentiments of both his peers and his fans - golf needs a return of the competitve Tiger Woods. I have nothing against the new wave of talented young golfers but, just like it used to be with Michael Jordan, you new when you watched Tiger make a swing that you were watching part of history being made. I would love to see the Tiger that was so competitive (arrogant) that he knew on Thursdays the rest of the field was playing for second place. While as a 15 handicapper myself, I appreciate the difficulty of hitting that little ball exactly where you want it to go, fixing Tiger's game should not be this hard. If I could speak to Tiger  I would have to tell him to look to the teachings of, arguably, the most important person in his life - his father. I feel sure that if his dad were still with us, he would re-focus Tiger very quickly. I guess that in the weeks, months, and years ahead we will see if the fire to be the best to ever pick up a golf club can be re-ignited. I for one, surely hope so. The sports world needs Jack Nichlaus walking down to shake Tiger's hand after the 18 majors record falls not sports-talk fodder about Tiger squandering away his chance to break records that, to most people, could never be broken. If you ever see this post Tiger, there are millions of people rooting for you. Get healthy, trust in your abilities, and give us an opportunity to watch you make history!
