I subscribed to Icenetwork.com just one week ago, drawn in of course by the free Saturday coverage of Skate America. Imagine my dismay when I returned yesterday all prepared to watch Skate Canada, only to discover that there were no videos of the event, either live or archived. I had no idea what had happened and in fact imagined that it was a technical problem affecting only me. I called the hotline number only to receive the message "We're sorry. Due to system maintenance, we cannot help you at this time. Please try your call again later." Then I sent an e-mail describing the problem. I actually received a response today, 24 hours later, but there was no explanation whatsoever about Skate Canada, just the suggestion that I call the same hotline number. Called that again, got the same "We're sorry" message. This is totally discouraging, and I feel completely duped by Icenetwork. This subscription was sold to me on false pretenses, implying that I could watch all the Grand Prix events listed on the schedule. I want a complete refund of my $39.95 -- definitely not a "drop in the bucket" for this retired-on-a-fixed-income person, thank you very much.
