I love and hate predictions but here we are for Skate Canada and my love of predicting is presiding now. Here are my picks for Skate Canada with sometimes additional sidemarks

Pairs:
1st: Savchenko and Szolkowy (by far the best pair in this group)
2nd: Duhamel and Radford
3rd: Berton and Hotarek

Dance:
1st: Virtue and Moir (I suspect they will put up similar scores to Davis and White)
2nd: Cappellini and Lanotte
3rd: Hubbell and Donohue

Men: I think this choice is more difficult than it might seem
1st: but I will still go with Patrick Chan to take gold; will new coaching have a positive effect on him?
2nd: Javier Fernandez
3rd: Ross Minor (but Nobunari Oda has a good shot too)

Ladies: I think this will be the most competitive and my picks are more out of the box, perhaps
1st: Akiko Suzuki (her mature skating and the experience of last year will carry over...similar to what Wagner did at SA)
2nd: Kanako Murakami (she had a down season last year, hope she turns it around)
3rd: Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

Osmond, Gold, and Zhang could also be on the medal stand but I wonder if Osmond just got lucky earlier at Nebelhorn in September; i'm not quite sold on Gold (although everyone else seems to be); and did Zhang finally turn it around, last year seems to suggest she took a step forward but should her 12th place finish at Nebelhorn be of concern?
