Motorists along California's
State Highways are being dangerously "DISTRACTED"
while driving, especially at night and mostly near the FRESNO
area! Drivers and their passengers are reporting low flying maneuvers
from an unidentified type craft. The craft seems to suddenly appear
dangerously and directly above the vehicles, criss-crossing in front of them, taunting
motorists as if to say, "Hey, look up at me, and look at the incredible
maneuvers I am capable of."
Drivers and their passengers are reporting very low flying air craft, performing extreme jaw dropping maneuvers at
close range even blowing dust clouds and other debris along the freeway at times visually impairing their sight of the road ahead. Witnesses can't
seem to recognize the type of aircraft they are seeing nor visually notice any
type of identification markings or numbers. The only consistent
description seems to be a dark, almost pewter type color with possibly a slight
texture to it, triangle in shape with 3 lights, one in each corner.
Who ever is responsible for this low flying aircraft, seems to want the
attention of the folks driving along the freeway and obviously doesn't care if
it creates “distractions” that would end in a collision or worse!
Why is this danger not being reported by the news media? How do we know this isn't the cause of past traffic
fatalities that happened due to "distractions" outside the vehicles? I say this because my own son witnessed this
"distraction" Sunday night at about 10 pm Northbound on 99 between Visalia and Fresno.
He and his girlfriend couldn’t take their eyes off of this "distraction"
due to its closeness to their vehicle and its jaw dropping or seemingly impossible
maneuvers being executed right above them! He felt as if it was trying to land on top of them... At one point his girlfriend
reminded him to concentrate back on the freeway because they started to drift dangerously
off the fast lane shoulder!
Soon after regaining control and refocusing his attention on
“driving” my son said to his girlfriend, "Did you see that? What the hell
was that!?” He then remembered his I-Phone, had his girlfriend
reconnect it to a power source (I-Phone had gotten low on battery and had been
rather discarded away) and quickly had her send me a text briefly describing what they
had just experienced!!!
Soon after the encounter, they both see an airport off the
side of the 99 freeway and take careful notice of the aircrafts taking off and
also the ones already in the air. They
realize how totally and extremely different their “aircraft” had been from
these and any other they have ever
seen!
After a long and rather awkward silence on their drive home,
they arrived back home and my son described the whole ordeal to me in detail.
At first I was bewildered, thinking, "What in the world are they talking about?" But after hours and hours of research I realized many others have been describing the exact "DISTRACTION!"
As a Father, a citizen and as a tax payer, I am pissed! I have come to
find out through my own research that many others have gone thru the same
ordeal for quite some time now in that area and NOBODY, not the NEWS NETWORKS, nor the HIGHWAY PATROL that we, as tax payers, pay to "SERVE" and
"PROTECT" its CITIZENS,
have investigated these dangerous “DISTRACTIONS”
and not just the other more typical distractions like cell phones, stereos, etc…
But if they are, what has been done? Better yet, WHY is this still an ongoing situation being dangerously
played out on our roads!?
(The HIGHWAY
PATROL agency has specific jurisdiction over all California
state routes (including all freeways and expressways, U.S. Highways,
Interstate Highways.)
Anyone reading this, that has had such an encounter or
knows of someone who has, PLEASE, PLEASE report these dangerous distractions to
our local authorities and to your local NEWS media, making note of the date and
time of your communication to them. This
cannot and should not be just brushed under the carpet, misleading citizens to
believe that the officials we vote in, hire and pay are doing their JOB and performing their DUTY!
